Job Description: 1. Ensure timely placement of purchase orders on approved vendors as per defined SOB. 2. Ensure timely availability of components from vendors with regular follow up to meet the manufacturing plan . 3. Proactively identify risk in arranging materials & work on mitigation strategy . 4. Monitor supplier performance, including on-time delivery, quality, and responsiveness, and implement corrective actions as necessary. 5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as engineering, production, quality assurance and R& D Teams, to understand their requirements and ensure timely availability of materials. 6. Identify gaps in existing process & strive for improvement . Desired Qualification & Experience: You should be a graduate mechanical or electrical engineer with 4 - 6 years of experience. Proven experience in procurement both domestic and Import. Stro ng knowledge of Purchase Fundamentals - Material Management Knowledge Manufacturing process of components ( machining, casting, sheet metal ) . Understanding of technical drawings & requirements Good negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal Hands on experience with SAP PP/MM Module and databases is mandatory. Detail oriented, ability to prioritize tasks with strict deadlines. Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities . Job Description: 1.
