Within Digital Technology, the Enterprise Architecture practice steers Orange Business’ architecture vision and guards the enterprise target architecture.

SAFe B2B Portfolio architect to support customer journeys within the Digital Enabler perimeter (customer portals, IAM, self-service platforms, omni-channel interfaces, AI-driven capabilities…).

Your missions

• Lead the architecture within the “Digital Enabler” SAFe Portfolioin sync with multiple teams from Customer Experience, Operations, Marketing, Global Process team, IT, etc.
• Ensure architectural consistency and alignmentwith enterprise-wide architecture strategies.
• Define the Portfolio functional, software and technical IT assets in sync. with strategy & architecture.
• Design a future-ready, cost-efficient IT with business & IT teams.

Your main activities

• You operate in a context of large-scaled agility. You provide architectural guidance and governance at the Portfolio level, ensuring alignment with SAFe practices and principles:
  • You manage architecture demands within your Portfolio
  • You collaborate with Enterprise Architects (at Orange Business level) to ensure that Portfolio-specific architectures fit within the broader architecture framework and Orange Business strategy.
  • You work closely with Solution Architects & Customer Architects to ensure each solution is aligned with the overall Portfolio roadmap and business goals.
  • You animate a System Architects (from Delivery Value Streams) circle within your Portfolio.
• You lead architecture runway proposing solutions to enhance the efficiency of systems, cut costs, and elevate the customer & Orange employee experience, with a focus on seamless integration across systems and services.
• You define and maintain the Portfolio target architecture, aligned with business objectives.
• You act as the Business Owner for Enablers EPICs.
• You ensure Portfolio architecture is consistent with enterprise-wide architecture strategies and complies with architecture standards and best practices.
• You drive continuous improvement of the Portfolio architecture, adapting to changes in technology and business requirements.
• You facilitate cross-Portfolios collaboration with other Portfolio architects, ensuring that shared services, data, and technologies are leveraged effectively across Portfolios.
• You bring your knowledge about external frameworks, standards and guidelines (data, TMF compliancy, Open Digital Architecture, Architecture board decisions…).
• You establish strategies for data architecture to uphold the precision, consistency, and security.
• You describe the transformation steps from the as-is architecture situation towards the target architecture to be reached.
• You maintain a holistic overview of your portfolio, including business capabilities, applications and processes.
• You develop and uphold architectural documentation.
• You keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry developments.

Your qualifications:

• 15+ years total experiencewith at least 10 years in architecture roles related to digital customer interfaces, portals, AI, and security.
• Excellent client facing communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage architecture in a large, scaled agile environment (functional, software & technical).
• Strong experience with SAFe framework and Portfolio-level architecture. SAFe for Architect certified.
• Understanding of B2B Telecommunications products and processes: proven experience with industry frameworks like TM Forum, Open Digital Architecture (ODA), and telecom-specific technologies is a plus.
• Proven experience designing scalable, secure, and user-centric digital front-end architectures.
• Strong understanding of digital transformation, customer journeys, and omnichannel strategies.
• Deep knowledge of AI technologies such as machine learning, NLP, and automation.
• Experience with IAM solutions, security protocols, and data privacy standards.
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks, API management, and integration patterns.Familiarity with modern architecture patterns, cloud technologies, and enterprise integration approaches.
• Proven experience with architecture governance on complex projects / programs, including key design decisions.
• Expertise in architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar is a plus.
• Working experience with architecture tools.
• Problem-solving skills.
