ZAIN2275 - AI Solution/Platform Architect

The AI Solution/Platform Architect defines technical solution designs and ensures alignment with Group AI reference architecture across all AI initiatives. This role conducts architecture reviews, provides design guidance to delivery teams, resolves complex technical dependencies, and ensures OpCo implementations comply with Group standards. The Architect partners with the Director, Tech & Platforms on platform strategy and reference architecture evolution, engages with OpCo technical teams on solution design, and serves as the technical escalation point for delivery teams. This role requires deep understanding of AI architectures, enterprise integration patterns, and the ability to balance technical purity with pragmatic business constraints in a federated organization.

• Design end-to-end technical solutions for AI use cases ensuring alignment with Group reference architecture

  
  

• Conduct architecture reviews and provide design guidance to delivery teams and OpCo technical staff

  
  

• Resolve complex technical dependencies across enterprise systems, data sources, and platforms

  
  

• Ensure OpCo AI implementations comply with Group architecture standards or have documented exceptions

  
  

• Partner with Director, Tech & Platforms on reference architecture definition and evolution

  
  

• Define integration patterns for AI systems with enterprise platforms (CRM, BSS/OSS, data platforms)

  
  

• Support platform evaluation and vendor selection with technical due diligence and architecture assessment

  
  

• Create architecture blueprints, design patterns, and technical reference materials for reuse

  
  

• Serve as technical escalation point for delivery teams on complex architecture challenges

  
  

• Engage with OpCo architects and technical leads to drive architecture alignment and knowledge sharing

  
  

KPIs include but are not limited to:

• Architecture compliance: percentage of solutions compliant with reference architecture

  
  

• Design quality: solution architecture quality as measured by peer reviews and production issues

  
  

• Reusability: number of reusable patterns and accelerators created and adopted

  
  

• OpCo alignment: percentage of OpCos aligned to Group architecture standards

  
  

• Technical escalation resolution: time to resolve complex architecture issues

  
  

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.

Experience: 10+ years in technology roles with 5+ years in solution architecture or enterprise architecture. Experience designing AI/ML solutions, enterprise integrations, and cloud architectures. Background in telecom BSS/OSS systems or complex regulated industries valuable.

Knowledge: Deep understanding of AI/ML architectures (GenAI, traditional ML, automation), enterprise integration patterns, cloud platforms, and data architectures. Experience with architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and governance. Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
