Job Title:                                Field Controller Advance Specialist

Reports to:                             Access Operations Manager

Job Purpose:

The Field Controller Advance Specialist is accountable to the Access Operations Manager for supervising and controlling all field operation activities related to Access Network infrastructure (RAN, Transmission, Power, and passive elements). The role ensures that field activities are executed in accordance with recognised engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures while maintaining high network availability, quality, and operational safety. The position acts as the central coordination point between field teams, vendors, managed services partners, and internal stakeholders.

Key Tasks/Accountabilities:

1. Calculating of the Service Credit toward MS FO and FM team, Tracking and report the exemption approval of TT With MS , Field maintenance Radio& Transmission Support and Power ) through the Digitized Operations Services solution .

   
   

2. Managing the operation through the Digitized Operations Services solution (Autin), and all related CT Management systems (U2020-NCE-Neteco-SOEM-ENM)

   
   

1. Preparation of various daily /weekly/ monthly reports related to Access area.

   
   

1. Ensures that Sites system security is maintained at all times.

   
   

2. Ensures that all CT Trouble Tickets are resolved according to the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA),and track of exemption validation through Access domains.

   
   

3. Ensure MS, vendors, contractors and staff planned activities are done according to the Cab/Ecab approval Processes also according to Zain CR procedures.

   
   

4. Conduct regular meetings with MS staff, contractors and vendors.

   
   

5. Review and approve the MS team’s plans and implementation of the process for Operations of the FM network elements

   
   

6. Assist the management in developing and implementing procedures and standards that will provide effective workflows through all CT Domains.

   
   

7. Act as interface with internal and external stakeholders for reporting of TT, Change Management Procedure and Internal/External Audit findings solution.

   
   

8. . Manging System training and share of experience/expertise with MS team to build overall capability of SC & the engineering team  .

Qualifications/Experience:

• Professional qualification mandatory – BSc in Engineering/Telecommunications

  
  

  • Practical experience of having worked at least 24 months in the

  
  

  Telecommunications industry mandatory

  
  

  • Experience of Site commissioning preferred

  
  

  • Should have previous strong track record of success in providing engineering

  
  

  support in a multi-site, complex business 

  
  

  • Clean current driving license mandatory

  
  

Knowledge:

• Broad understanding of the Mobile Telecommunications industry. 

  
  

  • Good understanding of the Sudan market and Zain business strategy, goals and

  
  

  competitive environment

  
  

  • In-depth knowledge of mobile networks, switching gear, signalling equipment,
