Job Purpose:

Assist the Production Supervisor with the training and supervision of the production and manufacturing personnel to ensure that pipes and fittings are produced in a safe, effective and efficient manner.

Supervision of section:

· Assist the supervisor in completing all production activities on time and according to required standards 

· Monitor the sections to help achieve the quantities required by the production schedule 

· Monitor production process to ensure safe operations

· Identify maintenance issues and report problems to supervisor and maintenance personnel

Manufacturing:

· Use raw material in accordance with specifications to avoid production problems

· Assist the supervisor by monitoring the production process to ensure finished products meet quality standards 

· Report production issues, problems, mistakes or non–conformities to supervisor and log details

· Coordinate the production schedule with Planning personnel to ensure optimum production efficiency

· Ensure that all manufactured products are produced as per the approved production order
