Assistant Production Manager

Incumbent should be from an Engineering industry into Steel Fabrication & Structural Steel production with minimum 5-10 years of experience. He would be responsible for Production output, Safety, Discipline, Attendance, Absenteeism and Total Shift activity and able to manage a team effectively.

• Sound knowledge in steel fabrication / welding techniques
• Structural steel fabrication will be preferred.
• Responsible for handling the complete shift operations and managing the workmen.
• Ensure job allocation carried out as per plan in a particular shift.
• Meeting the target of production as per the priorities set from time to time by monitoring the activities of operators.
• Verifying and confirming the production activity in SAP.
• Monitoring the attendance of workmen in the shift and work allotment as per plan
• Strictly follow the production priority as per plan.
• Maintain discipline in the shop floor.
• Ensuring the phase wise closing of the jobs as planned
• Should leave the work spot only after reliever takes the charge.
• Responsible for the safe working environment in his shift.
• Incumbent should be able to solve queries and effectively deal with internal customers

• Age Range: 26-35 years
• Minimum 5-10 years in managing a large fabrication division or PEB set up in manufacturing / engineering industry
• Understanding the priority requirements at Production.
• Should be able to meet the targets set from time to time
• Should be able to manage the team effectively and get results.
• Should be able to train & handhold team with the requirements of job
• Strong Leadership & Interpersonal Skills, Good communication skills, Go-getter attitude
