We are looking for an experienced Python Team Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable backend systems. You will lead a team of engineers, define technical direction, and ensure high-quality software aligned with business goals.
Lead and mentor a team of Python developers, fostering best practices and continuous improvement;
Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems using Python;
Architect and implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL services;
Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to design efficient data models;
Build and maintain microservices-based architectures;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, DevOps, Frontend);
Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and CI/CD practices;
Drive technical decisions, system design, and architecture discussions;
Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability;
Contribute to cloud-based solutions, primarily on Microsoft Azure.
5+ years of experience in backend development with strong expertise in Python;
1–2+ years of experience in a leadership or mentoring role;
Solid experience with REST APIs and/or GraphQL;
Strong knowledge of SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis);
Hands-on experience building and scaling microservices architectures;
Experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Storage, etc.);
Strong understanding of software design principles (SOLID, clean architecture);
Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus);
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience with frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI;
Exposure to event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
