Warehouse Controller

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Warehouse In-Charge to supervise and lead the warehouse team and ensure smooth daily warehouse operations in Abu Dhabi. The role is responsible for overseeing receiving, storage, dispatch, stock accuracy, team productivity, safety standards, and coordination with inventory, logistics, procurement, and sales teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail, and solid experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, and team supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise daily warehouse operations and warehouse staff to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

Oversee the receiving, storage, sorting, handling, and dispatching of inventory across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels.

Ensure timely unloading, sorting, and system entry of incoming stock.

Coordinate with the Inventory Controller to maintain accurate stock records and resolve inventory discrepancies.

Implement and monitor warehouse SOPs for goods receiving, material handling, storage, dispatch, and stock control.

Lead periodic physical stock counts, reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations in coordination with the inventory team.

Monitor warehouse layout and space utilization to improve productivity and operational efficiency.

Ensure warehouse processes comply with company safety, quality, and operational standards.

Track warehouse KPIs, team productivity, order fulfillment accuracy, stock loss, and damage levels.

Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to manage inbound and outbound deliveries.

Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of damaged or expired items.

Support continuous improvement by proposing enhancements to warehouse workflows, systems, and technologies.

Ensure warehouse security and implement measures for loss prevention.

Train, guide, review, and discipline warehouse team members when required.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations.

At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, receiving, dispatch, and stock reconciliation.

Experience using Warehouse Management Systems, ERP systems, and MS Office.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to solve operational issues and manage daily warehouse challenges.

Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and proper material handling procedures.

Driving license is preferable.

Forklift experience is preferable.

Competitive salary ranging from AED 3,000 to AED 4,500 per month, based on experience and qualifications.
