Warehouse Assistant

The Warehouse Assistant plays a crucial role in the distribution and logistics sector, ensuring that goods are accurately received, stored, and dispatched in a timely manner. This position is essential for maintaining the flow of products within the supply chain, contributing to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The Warehouse Assistant will work closely with team members to manage inventory and support various warehouse functions.

Responsibilities:

1. Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
2. Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations.
3. Prepare and pack orders for shipment, ensuring all items are included.
4. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in regular stock counts.
5. Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
6. Assist in the implementation of safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
7. Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse processes and workflows.
8. Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to management promptly.
9. Support the loading and unloading of trucks as needed.
10. Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
