Senior Product Manager (m/f/d)

About the Role

Client is an enterprise-grade banking software. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager with deep FinTech experience in traditional, process-oriented enterprise software. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle from zero to scalable implementation, working closely with engineering teams, clients, and internal stakeholders.

You will start with one product line and a small team, with the potential to scale to multiple product lines and larger teams based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product development from user interviews through system design, production, market promotion, and market success.
• Build systems from zero to scalable implementation in a banking or FinTech environment.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to deliver process-oriented enterprise software.
• Manage cross-stakeholder communication including clients, project management, technical teams, and junior product staff.
• Train and mentor junior team members.
• Build and lead your own product team over time.

Qualifications 

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in FinTech, with the majority as a Product Manager. Adjacent experience in project management or technical roles within FinTech is also acceptable.
• Experience in any FinTech subdomain including payments, banking systems, or security systems.
• Proven end-to-end product lifecycle experience from user interview to market success.
• Strong background in traditional, process-oriented enterprise software. Additional experience with AI or big data platforms is a plus but not required.
• Experience with commercial banking software or central bank software is highly relevant.
• Experience with European banking or FinTech domain. Experience in Singapore, Hong Kong, or India (particularly with NPCI) are also highly valuable.
• Proven ability to train and mentor junior product talent.
• Strong communication skills across clients, project managers, and engineering teams.
• Experience managing product teams and coordinating with engineering teams.
• Demonstrated ability to handle large projects independently and build a successful team.
