SENIOR OFFSHORE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

As a Structural Engineer You will be responsible for leading the structural engineering design of offshore topsides, jackets, and platforms within FEED and EPC projects. The role involves technical oversight, quality assurance, and coordination across disciplines to deliver compliant and safe offshore structures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage structural engineering deliverables including calculations, design reports, and specifications
• Perform and review structural analysis using tools such as SACS, SESAM, or STAAD for topsides, jackets, and decks
• Develop and review structural design basis, load calculations, and fatigue/dynamic analyses
• Coordinate with piping, mechanical, naval architecture, and weight control disciplines
• Review and approve vendor documents, fabrication drawings, and third-party documentation
• Provide technical guidance to junior and intermediate engineers
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes (API RP 2A, AISC, NORSOK, ISO 19902)
• Support project management in schedule adherence and technical quality

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering (master's preferred)
• 13+ years of experience in offshore structural engineering within oil & gas EPC/FEED projects
• Proficiency in structural analysis software: SACS, SESAM, STAAD Pro, or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of offshore design codes: API RP 2A, ISO 19902, AISC, DNV
• Experience with offshore topside, jacket, and platform design
• Familiarity with ADNOC or Middle East offshore project experience is an advantage
• Strong communication and leadership skills
