SENIOR OFFSHORE STRUCTURAL DESIGNER

As a Structural Designer, you will lead the preparation and coordination of structural design drawings and 3D models for offshore facilities. Works closely with structural engineers to produce deliverables that meet quality, schedule, and project requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead production of structural design drawings including general arrangement, details, and fabrication drawings
• Develop and manage 3D structural models using PDMS, SP3D, or equivalent platforms
• Coordinate with other design disciplines to resolve clashes and interface issues
• Review and check drawings prepared by junior designers and draftsmen
• Maintain drawing register and ensure document control compliance
• Liaise with engineers and project leads to incorporate design changes
• Support model reviews, design walkthroughs, and client presentations
• Mentor and guide junior designers within the team

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Drafting/Design
• 13+ years of experience in structural design/drafting for offshore oil & gas projects
• Proficiency in PDMS, SP3D, AutoCAD, and/or TEKLA
• Solid understanding of structural elements for offshore platforms and topsides
• Familiarity with offshore fabrication and construction standards
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus
• Prior experience on ADNOC or UAE-based offshore projects is an advantage
