Senior Estimator

Leading Design and build contractor specialising in design, fit-out, and construction services across commercial and residential sectors, they pride themselves on delivering bespoke projects with creativity, precision, and excellence.
As their business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and commercially astute Senior Estimator to join our Dubai team.
The Role The Senior Estimator will play a critical role in the successful tendering and pre-construction phases of high-end interior fit-out projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent cost-planning capabilities, and proven UAE market experience within the interiors and fit-out sector.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for interior fit-out projects
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documentation
• Conduct quantity take-offs and pricing analysis
• Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors
• Analyse project risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project delivery teams
• Prepare tender submissions, commercial proposals, and bid clarifications
• Monitor market pricing trends and maintain updated cost databases
• Support commercial and project teams during project handover

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 8–10 years’ estimating experience within the UAE interior fit-out industry
• Strong knowledge of commercial, hospitality, and luxury residential projects
• Excellent understanding of materials, joinery, MEP, and fit-out methodologies
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and commercial skills
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tenders simultaneously
• UAE experience is essential
