School Counsellor (Arabic & English Speaking) - Sharjah
Location: Kalba, Sharjah, UAE

We are seeking a compassionate and qualified School Counsellor fluent in both Arabic and English to join a leading international school in Sharjah.
This is a rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in supporting student's emotional well being, personal development, and academic success within a diverse and inclusive school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counselling to students across primary and secondary levels
- Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
- Promote positive mental health and well being across the school
- Work closely with teachers, leadership, and parents to support student development
- Identify safeguarding concerns and follow appropriate procedures
- Deliver workshops and awareness sessions on well being, resilience, and life skills
- Maintain accurate, confidential student records
- Contribute to school-wide pastoral care initiatives
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a professional who:
- Is fluent in both Arabic and English (essential)
- Demonstrates empathy, discretion, and strong interpersonal skills
- Can build trust and positive relationships with students and families
- Is proactive in promoting student well being
- Works effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Counselling, Psychology, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- Relevant counselling qualification/license
- Minimum of 2 year's experience in a school or child-focused setting
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices
- Experience in an international school setting is an advantage
