QC Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAE

The QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all construction, manufacturing, or engineering activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The role involves inspection, testing, documentation, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain consistent quality throughout the project lifecycle.

• Implement and monitor the Quality Control system in accordance with project specifications and company standards
  

  
  

• Conduct inspections and tests on materials, workmanship, and completed works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and standards
  

  
  

• Review and verify Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality procedures
  

  
  

• Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports, NCRs, punch lists, and corrective action reports
  

  
  

• Coordinate with production, construction, and engineering teams to resolve quality-related issues
  

  
  

• Witness testing activities such as material tests, pressure tests, and functional checks as required
  

  
  

• Ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO, ASME, ASTM, or project-specific requirements
  

  
  

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors during audits and inspections
  

  
  

• Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure of quality issues
  

  
  

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Electrical or relevant discipline)
  

  
  

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a QC Engineer, preferably in UAE or GCC projects
  

  
  

• Strong knowledge of quality standards, inspection procedures, and documentation
  

  
  

• Familiarity with project quality requirements and international codes and standards
  

  
  

• Strong understanding of quality control processes and inspection techniques
  

  
  

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  

  
  

• Proficiency in preparing quality documentation and reports
  

  
  

• Good coordination and communication skills
  

  
  

• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
  

  
  

• Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, reporting tools)
