Project Director - High Rise

We are looking to recruit a Project Director to lead the delivery of a landmark high-rise tower project in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management, execution, and successful completion of the project from pre-construction through handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
The role requires a strong leader with extensive experience delivering complex high-rise developments within the GCC region for leading main contractors.
Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Delivery

• Provide full strategic and operational leadership for the high-rise tower project.
• Manage all phases of construction including planning, procurement, execution, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with contractual obligations, project milestones, and commercial objectives.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including construction, engineering, commercial, planning, QA/QC, HSE, and subcontractors.
• Drive project performance through effective reporting, risk management, and decision-making.

Requirements

• Ideally a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, MRICS, or Chartered Engineer status are preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 15 years of experience within the construction industry.
• Proven experience working with Tier 1 main contractors in the GCC region.
• Demonstrated track record delivering high-rise tower projects in the UAE and wider GCC.
• Strong experience managing large-scale multidisciplinary construction teams and complex stakeholder environments.
• Experience handling projects from inception through final handover.

Technical & Leadership Skills

• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of UAE construction regulations, authority approvals, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in project management and reporting tools.
• Ability to lead under pressure and manage fast-paced project environments.
