Position: Plant Engineer
(To be recruited from India)
Objective:The objective of this position is to have control on asset management, asset maintenance, and project management.
Skill Set Required:
  • BE/B Tech from a reputed college/university
  • Must possess 12–15 years of post-qualification experience
  • At least 5 years in a managerial position
  • Must have handled new machine installations / Key CAPEX projects
  • Strong knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation & Civil
  • Problem-solving skills & interpersonal skills
  • Must have handled construction of warehouses/maintenance
Job Description:
  1. Managing the upkeep of all manufacturing assets/maintenance & ensure operational capacity of the assets
  2. Coordinate and manage repair and maintenance projects, focused on preventive maintenance
  3. Oversee efficient operation of utilities including Water, Electricity & HVAC systems
  4. Maintain inventory of supplies & equipment necessary for maintenance tasks
  5. Managing maintenance budget and assisting in the design, installation of new systems
  6. 10% rule: A preventive maintenance action should be completed within 10% of the scheduled maintenance interval
  7. Contribute to the creation & implementation of best practice maintenance vision
  8. Effectively delegate maintenance issues to be resolved on each shift & small projects to the right skills in the team, planning & managing effective works
  9. Develop planned preventive maintenance schedule (PPM) & execute according to the plan
  10. Audit & ensure compliance of the Engineering Data Systems
  11. Optimize equipment according to standard procedures
  12. Safe custody of plant layout, machine drawings, other operational documents & implement operating manuals/procedures
  13. Timely calibration of plant & equipment
  14. People management and continuous training
  15. Liaise & communicate with other departments, suppliers & service providers
  16. Understanding of quality audits, ISO/HALAL/GMP/Hygiene audits
  17. Strong maintenance experience in chillers, blast freezers, compressors, conveyors & other common utilities in manufacturing
  18. Understanding of legal safety regulations
  19. Proficiency in AutoCAD software or equivalent tools
  20. Key role in the group’s expansion programs & project management
