MECHANIC FOREMAN

As the Mechanic Foreman, you will be responsible for managing a team of mechanics and ensuring the timely and effective repair and maintenance of earthmoving, lifting, and auxiliary equipment. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the group's operational efficiency and safety standards. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and provide technical guidance to your team.

• Oversee the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring efficient and timely repairs.
• Manage and lead a team of mechanics, providing guidance and support.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and strategies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with other departments for smooth equipment operations.
• Train and mentor junior mechanics, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all maintenance activities.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.
• Represent the department in meetings and provide technical expertise.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a heavy equipment maintenance environment.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• In-depth knowledge of earthmoving, lifting, and auxiliary equipment maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting complex issues.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for maintenance purposes.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A valid UAE driving license.
• Familiarity with industry-specific software for maintenance management.
• Willingness to undergo further training and development as required.
