Librarian Assistant (August 2026)

The Arbor School Dubai is seeking a compassionate, professional, and organized Librarian Assistant to join our dedicated team. Enthusiastic school librarian assistant responsible for supporting the effective day-to-day operation of the school library, fostering a positive reading culture, and promoting information literacy across the school community. The role also includes planning and delivering engaging library and literacy lessons, supporting curriculum learning, and maintaining an inclusive and stimulating learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the school library, including cataloguing, circulation, and maintaining library resources.

  
  
  
  

• Promote a positive reading culture and encourage students’ independent reading and research skills.

  
  
  
  

• Plan and deliver engaging library, literacy, and information skills lessons to support the curriculum.

  
  
  
  

• Support students and staff in accessing appropriate learning resources, both print and digital.

  
  
  
  

• Maintain an organised, inclusive, and welcoming library environment that supports learning and student engagement.

  
  
  
  

• Support School Librarian.
  

  
  
  

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree
  

  
  
  

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a school environment.
  

  
  
  

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
