Housekeeping Attendant

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• PUBLIC AREAS
o Cleans and maintains all lobbies, F&B outlets, rest-rooms, passages and exterior spaces of the hotel (Public areas & offices).
o Vacuums carpets and empties ashtrays and bins.
o Polishes and dusts furniture and fixtures.
o Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and polishes floors.
o Washes walls and glass.
o Vacuums and polish elevators.
o Cleans mirrors and windows.
• GUEST ROOMS
o Enters and prepares rooms for cleaning.
o Checks mini bar.
o Makes the bed.
o Sanitize rooms and furniture.
o Checks all equipment.
o Reports broken equipment to Housekeeping coordinator/supervisor.
o Cleans the bathroom.
o Mops the floors
o Replenishes bedroom and bathroom supplies.
o Vacuums carpets including passages and lift landing.
o Checks and secures the room.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• At least High school diploma
• 1-year experience in 4- star or 5-star hotels.
• Knowledgeable in Housekeeping operation and cleaning methods will be an asset
• Ability to communicate basic English
• Detail-oriented and possess pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills
