FP&A Analyst (Temp)

Job Title: FP&A Analyst (Contract Role)
Location: Dubai
Contract Duration: 3–4 months initially (extendable)

Our client is part of a well-established and diversified business group in the UAE, with a strong presence across multiple sectors including engineering, technology, and integrated services. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and driven by performance and precision.

We are looking for a qualified and commercially driven FP&A professional to support financial planning, reporting, and project-based forecasting within a dynamic business environment. This role will have a strong focus on financial analysis linked to service contracts (materials & labor) and project performance, particularly within the technology sector.

• Manage and support month-end closing activities, including preparation of management accounts
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules on a monthly basis
• Develop project-level backlog forecasts and translate them into monthly P&L projections
• Compare forecasts against FY26 budgets, identifying gaps and providing actionable insights
• Analyze and forecast cost overruns and change order requests in coordination with business stakeholders
• Support ongoing FP&A activities, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives
• Partner with finance and operational teams to enhance financial visibility and support decision-making

• 5–10 years of experience in FP&A or finance roles
• Qualified accountant (CA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of service contracts (materials & labour)
• Experience working on technology sector projects is highly preferred
• Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP (GL, AP, AR modules) – mandatory
• Exposure to Oracle Projects module is highly desirable
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills

• Strong financial modelling and forecasting capabilities
• Ability to translate operational data into meaningful financial insights
• High attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
