The key objectives for this role are:
- Ensure the safe, reliable, and uninterrupted flow of hydrocarbons from reservoir to processing facilities throughout the asset life cycle.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate flow assurance risks such as hydrates, wax, asphaltenes, scale, corrosion, erosion, and slugging.
- Support the design and operation of production systems (pipelines, subsea systems, wells, and facilities) to maintain flow under expected operating conditions.
- Apply steady‑state and transient flow assurance analysis to evaluate operating scenarios, start‑up, shutdown, and upset conditions.
- Contribute to the development of flow assurance strategies, including insulation, heating, chemical injection, pigging, and operational controls.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, company specifications, and regulatory requirements related to flow assurance.
- Provide technical input to project teams during concept selection, FEED, detailed design, and operational support phases.
- Assist in optimizing designs to achieve cost‑effective and operable solutions while maintaining safety and system integrity.
- Prepare and review flow assurance reports, calculations, and technical documentation with clarity and accuracy.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams (process, subsea, operations, facilities, and integrity) to support integrated engineering solutions.
- Support operational teams by providing troubleshooting and performance‑improvement recommendations based on flow assurance analysis.
- Continuously develop technical competence and stay aware of industry best practices and emerging flow assurance technologies.

- Support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of flow assurance risks including hydrates, wax, asphaltenes, scale, corrosion, erosion, and slugging across the production system.
- Assist in performing steady‑state and transient flow assurance analyses for pipelines, wells, subsea systems, and surface facilities under various operating scenarios.
- Apply engineering fundamentals and flow assurance theory to support design and operational decisions under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of flow assurance strategies, such as insulation, heating, chemical injection, pigging, and operational controls.
- Provide technical input during concept selection, FEED, detailed design, and operational support phases of projects.
- Interpret and review P&IDs, process data, operating envelopes, and design documentation to identify potential flow risks and operability issues.
- Support compliance with applicable industry codes, standards, company specifications, and regulatory requirements relevant to flow assurance.
- Assist in preparing technical reports, calculations, study summaries, and presentations that are accurate, clear, and suitable for review.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including process, subsea, production, integrity, and operations to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
- Support troubleshooting activities by analyzing operational data and contributing to performance improvement and issue‑resolution recommendations.
- Demonstrate awareness of company policies, procedures, and HSE requirements affecting engineering and operational activities.
- Maintain and progressively develop competence in flow assurance and engineering software tools (e.g., OLGA, PIPESIM, HYSYS, Aspen, or similar).
- Stay informed of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and lessons learned relevant to flow assurance engineering.

Expected:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant industry experience in flow assurance, production engineering, process engineering, or related oil & gas engineering roles within projects and/or operations environments.
- Sound practical knowledge of flow assurance principles, including multiphase flow behavior, fluid properties, hydrate risk management, wax and asphaltene deposition, flow regime identification, corrosion, erosion, and thermal‑hydraulic analysis.
- Good working understanding of oil and gas production systems, including wells, pipelines, subsea systems, topsides facilities, and associated operating philosophies.
- Demonstrated experience applying industry standards and recommended practices (e.g., API, ISO, ASME, DNV) relevant to flow assurance and offshore/onshore hydrocarbon developments.
- Working knowledge of regulatory and HSE requirements applicable to engineering design, project execution, and operational activities within the energy sector.
- Hands‑on experience with flow assurance and process simulation tools such as OLGA, PIPESIM, HYSYS, Aspen, MATLAB, or equivalent, with the ability to perform and interpret engineering analyses.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to apply engineering fundamentals to independently resolve routine flow assurance challenges and support more complex studies under guidance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for engineering calculations, data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical information to multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, demonstrating initiative, accountability, and continuous professional development.
