Estimation Engineer-MEP

Summary:
We are looking for an Estimation Engineer with experience in MEP contracting, specifically in both mechanical and electrical projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating costs for various projects in the MEP sector.
Job Responsibility:
1. Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
2. Collaborate with the engineering team to determine project requirements and constraints.
3. Source and negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors.
4. Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.
5. Review and compare different quotes to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
6. Participate in bid meetings and presentations to potential clients.
7. Update and maintain a cost database for future reference and analysis.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
2. Proven experience as an Estimation Engineer in MEP contracting.
3. In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and materials.
4. Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
6. Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office applications.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. Certification in Estimating or relevant field is a plus.
