The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our clients across the region.
This is a Full-Time position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Responsibilities
* Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to transport and deliver products to various destinations.
* Adhere strictly to all UAE traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies.
* Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely delivery.
* Load, unload, and handle goods with care, ensuring they are secure and free from damage.
* Verify the accuracy of delivery contents against shipping documents and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
* Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
* Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues or defects promptly.
* Ensure the company vehicle is kept clean, tidy, and in good working condition.
* Provide excellent customer service, representing the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
Qualifications
* A valid UAE driving licence is essential (manual transmission required).
* Proven experience working as a professional driver in the UAE.
* A clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations.
* Excellent knowledge of Dubai and other UAE road networks and traffic patterns.
* Basic proficiency in English is required for communication and understanding delivery instructions.
* Strong time-management and organisational skills.
* Physical fitness, with the ability to handle and lift goods as required.
* A punctual, reliable, and trustworthy character.
