Located on the pristine shores of Bluewaters Island, the DELANO Dubai resort will boast an array of luxury rooms and suites, four exceptional culinary and mixology experiences, an ocean front swimming pool and a wellness studio. 

As a Commis II at DELANO Dubai, you will support the kitchen team in basic food preparation and mise-en-place, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen. You will work closely under the guidance of senior chefs, ensuring all tasks are completed with consistency, discipline, and attention to detail in line with DELANO standards.

• Basic Food Preparation: Assist with simple preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients
• Mise-en-Place Support: Help set up and maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked workstation before and during service
• Service Assistance: Support the kitchen brigade during service by executing basic tasks accurately and promptly
• Hygiene & Cleanliness: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, ensuring compliance with HACCP and kitchen safety procedures at all times
• Ingredient Handling: Assist in proper storage, labelling, and rotation of ingredients to ensure freshness and reduce waste
• Team Support: Work closely with Commis I and Demi Chef de Partie to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Learning & Development: Actively learn basic culinary skills and kitchen procedures under supervision
• Kitchen Discipline: Follow instructions carefully, demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
• Operational Assistance: Support general kitchen duties to ensure efficiency and cleanliness throughout service periods
• Standards Awareness: Develop understanding of DELANO culinary standards, recipes, and presentation expectations

• Luxury Experience: Previous experience as a Commis II or Commis III in a luxury hotel, high-end restaurant, or similar environment preferred
• Culinary Foundation: Basic understanding of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, cleanliness, and presentation standards
• Hygiene Knowledge: Understanding of basic food safety and HACCP principles
• Team Player: Willingness to learn and work collaboratively within a structured kitchen brigade
• Adaptability: Able to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment
• Educational Background: A formal culinary qualification or international culinary training is preferred, with strong technical foundations.
