We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Manager with a strong architectural and landscape background to join our team in the UAE. This role requires an independent, technically proficient professional who can apply excellent judgment to develop, manage, and coordinate Building Information Models (BIM) for a diverse portfolio of projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in implementing BIM processes across the UAE offices, collaborating globally, and providing BIM expertise to ensure the delivery of high-quality documentation and project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• BIM implementation and strategy - Write the project's BIM execution plan, ensure adherence to BIM standards and protocols, and oversee the integration of BIM processes across the project lifecycle.
• Model coordination and management - Coordinate BIM model development with all project stakeholders, ensure clash detection and resolution through regular model eviews, and manage and update the federated model.
• Technical oversight and quality assurance - Conduct regular quality checks on BIM deliverables to check accuracy. Implement and monitor BIM quality control procedures, and address and resolve technical issues related to BIM.
• Training and support - Provide training and support to project team members on BIM tools and processes, stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and industry practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement in BIM capabilities.
• Collaboration and communication - Ensure effective communication of BIM-related information and engage with clients and stakeholders to align BIM goals and deliverables.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Excellent communication skills - both oral and written. Is an effective communicator; able to communicate and direct across the project team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills - inclusive mindset with the ability to collaborate and work effectively with others.
• Expert understanding of: 
  • Asset Classification Systems
  • Software Interoperability
  • 3D, 4D & 5D
  • Detailed of understanding with technical design coordination.
  • Model Federation & Clash Detection 
  • Digital technologies and authoring applications
• Sound understanding of: 
  • ISO 19650 series of standards
  • ISO 7817 part 1
  • Common Data Environments (CDE).
  • Contractual Requirements.
  • Experience writing BIM Execution Plans
  • Experience responding to bids and proposals 
  • Good Information Management skills
  • Strong mentoring, collaboration and culture ethos promoting teamwork and inclusion.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
• A degree or diploma in Architecture or a related field is required.
