Role Highlights:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Build and optimize distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Work with event streaming and messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Design and maintain relational and NoSQL database solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in system design, architecture reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Monitor and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Data, and Software.

Unique Strengths You Bring to the Table:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in backend software development.
• BSc in Computer Science or a related engineering field (MSc is preferred).
• Proficiency in strongly-typed programming languages such as Go, C# or Java.
• Experience with distributed event streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka or similar event log systems.
• Experience with message queue systems such as RabbitMQ.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with NoSQL databases and data structures such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and microservices.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs or gRPC APIs.
• Familiarity with containerized environments and cloud-native applications.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong ownership mindset with disciplined follow-up and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and clarity.
• Passion for being a part of a fast-growing BaaS company.

Would Be Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Apache Spark or similar big data processing solutions.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools.
• Have knowledge of ISO 27001:2022 and act as required by these systems. (*)

(*): Vispera will provide relevant trainings, in case of a need if the personnel haven't got these trainings, after the recruitment within 3 months.
