JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE


  • Optimise the delivery lead-time, transport costs and the Quality service focusing on customer satisfaction.


  • Confirm availability of goods to the customers, discussing availability and collection data with the Production plant responsible.


  • Manage relationships with carriers and forwarders, confirming dates, checking invoices, claims and export documents.



JOB SCOPE/DIMENSIONS


  • Contribute to the On Time Delivery (OTD) and customer satisfaction indicators


  • Contribute to the claims KPIs


  • Responsible for maintaining a safe personal environment and acting safely at all times.


  • Fully supports the location health, safety and environmental (EHS) programs by participating in their implementation, maintenance, enforcement and compliance with the company's programs.


  • To support all STEP initiatives (Saving Together through Excellence in Purchasing) and participate actively in all requested projects.


  • Customer service activities linked to support Sales as Sales reports or price checking.


KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Confirm sales orders to customers after planning discussion.


  • Assure suppliers booking transport through TMS (Transwide) when ready, issue Delivery Notes and all related documents.


  • Manage the customers urgent deliveries.


  • Manage customer complaints in case root cause analysis impacts Supply Chain. 


  • Keep a closer relation with Customer Service to permit customers to receive all information related to the goods status.


  • Send the purchase orders to suppliers, follow up these orders confirmations and also ETAs requested vs ETAs confirmed. 


  • Control suppliers deliveries conformity, costs generated by non-conformities (quality, delay) and that these costs are re-invoiced.


  • Anticipate the delivery delay from suppliers and manage emergencies


  • Forward all necessary documents to the logistics service providers


  • Send input documents to the accounting department for invoices reconciliation


  • Manage supplier complaints


  • Ensure delivery and stock data reliability in software.


  • Provide loaders short term and midterm information of daily collections.


  • Follow up and monitor Supply Chain KPIs related to the function.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar function


  • SAP user, preferably Hana version is a plus. Logos ERP user is an added value.


  • Bachelor or Master in international Business & Logistics and Supply Chain Management is a plus


Knowledge, skills, Imerys Leadership Behaviors 


  • Strong background in all kinds of transport and export documents. Background as a customs agency or forwarder officer is an added value. 


  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with several stakeholders, Sales, Customer services, Plant staff, Finance staff and forwarders / carriers representatives.


  • Leadership. Able to coordinate small projects.


  • Ability to work with ERP to execute administrative tasks. Logos / SAP


  • Speak English and Turkish.
