Responsibilities:

Stakeholder and Site Coordination:
- Act as the main liaison between IT/security teams and on-site stakeholders, including contractor, and civil teams
- Attend daily and weekly site coordination meetings, ensuring technical alignment with construction progress
- Conduct joint inspections and walkdowns with local contractors and authorities
Project Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with design teams to review ICT layout drawings (MEP coordinated). • Provide technical input during the construction and commissioning phases. • Review method statements and work progress related to IT/ELV/structured cabling. • Attend authority inspections and support submissions and local council requirements
Infrastructure Deployment:
- Supervise installation of structured fiber cabling, rack layouts, and physical network gear
- Coordinate installation testing and commissioning (T&C) with MEP/ELV vendors
Procurement and Materials:
- Manage structured cabling and IT hardware BOMs, vendor RFQs, and delivery tracking
- Verify as-built drawings and O&M manuals in line with handover requirements
- Liaise with QS and procurement team to ensure accurate equipment delivery and documentation
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure installation adheres to local safety regulations (e.g., OSHA 1994)
- Support EHS team with on-site risk assessments for IT-related works
- Track and report non-conformance issues (NCRs) during inspections
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Provide progress updates to stakeholders via site reports and dashboard tools
- Maintain accurate tracking of project deliverables related to IT/security scope
- Support MARCUS or equivalent tools and internal tracking systems as needed
Testing, Commissioning & Handover:
- Participate in Integrated System Testing (IST) and pre-handover activities
- Support QA/QC during network system FAT/SAT, security testing, and close-out documentation
- Prepare red-line drawings, asset tags, and documentation for client handover
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Computer/Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, network engineering, or ELV systems, with at least 2–3 years in data center construction or infrastructure build projects
- Proven understanding of construction site protocols, including MEP coordination, authority submissions, and local council requirements. • Practical experience with structured fiber, network infrastructure, rack layouts, and ELV systems
- Proficient in interpreting MEP, ICT, and ID construction drawings and participating in T&C, QA/QC, and handover processes
- Knowledge of data center operations, including both physical and logical security measures
- Strong command of English
- Skilled in project coordination, stakeholder communication, and vendor management across cross-functional and global teams
- Familiar with project management tools and platforms such as MARCUS, Risk/Rappy, Fluxx, and DCViz
- Committed to maintaining EH&S standards, site safety practices, and high-quality project delivery
- Strong capabilities in problem-solving, critical thinking, multitasking, and adapting to fast-paced, dynamic project environments
