Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of structural designs, calculations, and reports based on current codes and standards.
• Perform basic structural analysis using FEM software, spreadsheets, and manual methods.
• Prepare material take-offs, simple cost estimates, and project schedules.
• Support senior engineers in drafting and producing structural drawings and sketches using BIM tools.
• Verify software outputs and ensure design results meet project specifications.
• Provide assistance to drafting staff and interns for basic technical tasks.
• Ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and within prescribed timelines.
• Respond flexibly to evolving project needs and changes in priorities.
• Adhere to company standards and guidelines in all deliverables.

Qualifications

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering.
• Experience:
• 1–3 years of experience in a structural consultancy environment.
• Prior internship or training experience is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with FEM software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE, STAAD) and Microsoft Office tools.
• Basic understanding of BIM and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Solid theoretical foundation in structural engineering concepts and design codes.
• Soft Skills & Other Requirements:
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and open-minded team player.
• Performance & Advancement:
• Work is closely reviewed for accuracy, adequacy, and adherence to procedures.
