Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the execution, supervision, and coordination of all Audio -Video and Lighting (AVL) systems within assigned projects. Ensure technical compliance, quality, and timely delivery of work while guiding site engineers, subcontractors, and specialist vendors. Provide technical leadership, resolve site issues, and support project management in delivering AVL systems to client satisfaction.

- Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements.
- Provide inputs to Human Resources on succession planning, employee career growth, and organizational structure.
- Direct the development of KSA national employees across the function to support corporate objectives, Saudization targets, and lead knowledge sharing to strengthen internal capabilities.
- Manage and conduct the affairs of the function with the highest standards of respect, integrity, accountability, agility, quality, safety, and corporate governance.
- Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics policy and promote company values across all employees’ functions, providing leadership to reinforce a strong people culture and ethical business practices.
- Enhance adoption and utilization of systems and ERP.
- Identify and track KPIs for the AVL team and devise improvement initiatives.
- Reporting to Senior management when needed.
- Strive to streamline and refine policies, operational business processes, systems, and procedures.
Functional
- Proven experience in AVL systems across opera houses, theaters, conference rooms, and production environments, including but not limited to:
- Video walls, video wall controllers, projection systems, and advanced video mapping with high-resolution and multi-source signal distribution
- Professional audio systems, DSP configuration, system tuning, and acoustics coordination
- Stage, theatrical, and architectural lighting systems including design review, fixture selection, dimming systems, and integration with control and programming (DMX/DALI), including scene setting, system integration, testing, and commissioning.
- Video conferencing systems
- Audio and video streaming, recording, and media management systems
- Control systems design review, configuration, programming, integration, testing, and commissioning (Crestron, Extron, KNX, Lutron, etc.)
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate the installation, testing, and commissioning of AVL systems in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, and timelines.
- Lead and manage AVL engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with quality standards, project requirements, and safety regulations.
- Review and validate shop drawings, technical submittals, and method statements prior to submission to consultants and clients.
- Act as the primary focal point for AVL-related coordination with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (MEP, ICT, BMS, etc.) to ensure proper integration and avoid clashes or conflicts.
- Monitor site progress, track deliverables against the project schedule, and report status, risks, and mitigation plan to project management.
- Ensure quality control of AVL installations and participate in inspections with consultants and clients to obtain approvals.
- Oversee planning and allocation of manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure efficient execution of AVL works.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and site coordination issues, escalating critical matters when required.
- Support procurement activities by reviewing vendor quotations, conducting technical evaluations, and providing recommendations in line with project specifications.
- Lead system testing, commissioning, and final handover, ensuring full functionality and closure of all snags/punch list items.
- Ensure proper preparation and submission of as-built drawings, test reports, and operation & maintenance manuals.
- Ensure full compliance with HSE policies and procedures and conduct regular safety briefings for AVL teams.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Communications Engineering.
- Experience: 10 - 12 years in AVL systems execution and supervision in large-scale construction projects, with at least 3–4 years in a senior/lead role.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of AVL system design, installation, programming and UGI creation, integration, and commissioning.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent coordination and communication abilities with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD; Revit/BIM is an advantage.
- Strong reporting, documentation, and presentation skills.
