Senior Project Accountant - TDC

The project:

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.
Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Own project financials: budget, commitments, and actuals (value of work done).

  
  

• Lead monthly reporting, reforecasting, and variance analysis.

  
  

• Oversee TDC, funding requirements, and budget movements.

  
  

• Develop dashboards and automate reporting (Power BI / Excel).

  
  

• Provide commercial insights and challenge cost assumptions.

  
  

• Review/approve PRs & POs and ensure budget control.

  
  

• Manage accruals and month-end close.

  
  

• Identify cost risks, overruns, and funding gaps.

  
  

• Ensure compliance with DoA, controls, and audit requirements.

  
  

• Drive process improvements and standardisation.

  
  

You’ll need to have:

• Degree in Finance / Accounting.

  
  

• 8–10 years’ experience in project finance (construction / real estate / infrastructure preferred).

  
  

• Strong experience in TDC management, reporting, dashboards, and automation.

  
  

• Professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/CA) preferred.

  
  

• Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and cost control.

  
  

• Experience with SAP or similar.

  
  

• Advanced Excel & Power BI / dashboarding.

  
  

• Strong stakeholder management.
