Senior Electrical Commissioning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical commissioning activities from pre-commissioning through start-up.
• Develop and review commissioning procedures, test packs, and method statements.
• Plan and execute testing of electrical systems (switchgear, transformers, MCCs, UPS, protection systems).
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, and operations teams for system readiness and handover.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure systems meet performance and safety requirements.
• Manage punch lists, test records, and commissioning documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and project specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Extensive experience in electrical commissioning on industrial or oil and gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of power systems, protection schemes, and testing procedures.
• Proven experience across pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up phases.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
