Summary:

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing inspections, tests, and quality checks on raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications. The QC Technician plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, identifying defects, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Inspection and Testing:
  • Conduct visual inspections and dimensional measurements of raw materials, components, and finished products.
  • Collect and analyze samples for testing purposes.


  • Defect Identification and Reporting:
  • Identify and document defects, non-conformances, and other quality issues.
  • Communicate quality issues to supervisors, production teams, and other relevant personnel.


  • Compliance and Procedures:
  • Adhere to all company quality control procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines.


  • Other Duties:
  • Assist with other quality-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance job knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.


المهارات

  • Education: Associate’s degree in a related field or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or a related field.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in using measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Familiarity with testing equipment and procedures.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).


Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of quality control principles and practices.


Physical Requirements:

  • Physical dexterity will involve moving around the Manufacturing site for checking, sample pick up, testing and validation.


Working Conditions:

  • Mix work model – which will include both on production floor and in lab/office presence.
