We are seeking an experienced IT / Systems / Computer Engineer to support the operation, monitoring, and technical troubleshooting of enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining system availability, ensuring performance, supporting users and operational teams, and assisting in incident/problem resolution. Preference will be given to candidates with PMP and ISO certifications and strong foundational skills in networking and related technologies.
Operate and manage IT systems and infrastructure components (servers, operating systems, applications, services, and related tools).
Monitor system health and performance using logging/monitoring tools; detect, triage, and escalate issues.
Provide technical support for internal users and operational teams (Tier 2 support preferred).
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents; assist with root cause analysis where required.
Perform routine system maintenance activities (updates, patches, backups, and validation).
Support ISO-related processes/standards by maintaining documentation, supporting audit activities, and following required controls.
Support networking operations including connectivity checks and basic network/service validation.
Maintain accurate tickets, documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
Assist with capacity planning, performance reporting, and continuous improvement of operational processes.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement changes and enhancements.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in IT operations, system administration, or technical support (production environment experience preferred).
Strong understanding of:
Operating systems (Windows/Linux or both)
Networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing concepts, firewall concepts)
Services and troubleshooting methodologies
Experience using monitoring and ticketing tools (ServiceNow/Jira or similar).
Knowledge of incident management and basic service management practices.
Ability to work shifts or on-call if required (where applicable).
PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent project management training/experience.
ISO certification(s) or strong ISO-related knowledge (examples: ISO 9001, ISO 27001, or relevant ISO standards).
Any of the following are a plus:
ITIL Foundation
IT security fundamentals / compliance training
Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP basics)
Network certifications (CCNA or equivalent)
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication skills (technical and non-technical stakeholders).
Ability to follow procedures and maintain documentation for compliance.
Customer-focused and professional working attitude.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple incidents/requests.
