Homeroom Teacher

We are pleased to offer you the position of PYP Homeroom Teacher at our school, with the assigned grade level to be determined based on current vacancies in Grades 1 through 5. As a key member of our Primary Years Program team, you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing, inquiry-driven classroom environment that supports the holistic development of each student

•  Deliver engaging, inquiry-based instruction in alignment with the Enhanced PYP framework.
• Demonstrate strong pedagogical knowledge, with a particular emphasis on literacy development and best practices in teaching and learning.
• Plan collaboratively with colleagues to ensure transdisciplinary learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of all students.
• Differentiate instruction effectively to support a range of learning styles and abilities.
• Use digital tools seamlessly to enhance teaching, learning, and student engagement.
• Maintain effective communication and partnerships with students, colleagues, assistants, and parents to support student learning and well-being.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of the PYP curriculum, with a commitment to professional growth and school improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate professionally, with all records and communication conducted in English
