Electrical Inspector

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector with years of expertise in electrical inspections and compliance. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that electrical systems meet regulatory standards, project specifications, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of electrical installations to ensure compliance with local regulations, national codes, and project specifications.
• Verify that work is carried out in accordance with approved electrical designs.
• Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the integrity of electrical systems.
• Identify and address any deviations from approved plans.
• Create detailed inspection reports outlining findings, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of inspections.
• Collaborate with electrical contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient inspections.
• Provide guidance on meeting electrical requirements during construction.
• Oversee electrical testing and commissioning activities to ensure proper functionality of systems.
• Verify the performance of electrical components and equipment.
• Ensure that all electrical work meets safety standards and regulations.
• Identify and address safety hazards related to electrical installations.
• Communicate inspection results to clients, project teams, and relevant authorities.
• Provide guidance on addressing any non-compliance issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends, electrical codes, and emerging technologies.
• Recommend improvements to enhance the efficiency and safety of electrical installations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Inspector, with a focus on construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using electrical testing equipment.
• Professional certification as an Electrical Inspector.
• Experience with a variety of electrical systems, including commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
