BIM Specialist (6 months contract)

Within our consulting business, we have an opportunity within Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; with a wider scope, we are looking for a BIM Specialist to join our team. 

• Support the Interface Manager and technical team in the preparation, updating, and coordination of Civil 3D drafting and BIM deliverables for rail infrastructure projects.
• Produce and maintain accurate Civil 3D drawings, models, and design documentation, ensuring alignment with project requirements, BIM standards, and client specifications.
• Assist in drafting and modeling rail-related civil works, including alignments, profiles, cross sections, corridors, grading, and utility layouts, within a BIM-enabled environment.
• Coordinate Civil 3D outputs with multidisciplinary BIM models to support interface management and ensure consistency between drawings, models, and design information.
• Work closely with the Interface Manager, engineers, and stakeholders to incorporate design changes, interface comments, and technical inputs into coordinated drafting and BIM outputs.
• Provide technical support in the use of Civil 3D and BIM workflows to improve collaboration, data consistency, and delivery across the project lifecycle.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Master’s Degree in BIM is a plus.
• Relevant professional certifications
• Minimum 10 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years in infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience implementing BIM across all project stages: design, construction, and handover.
• Working knowledge of openBIM standards (IFC, COBie).
• Strong knowledge of BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Civil3D and other BIM tools.
