Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on metal components as per job specifications.
  
• Read and interpret welding drawings and measurements.
  
• Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and aligning parts.
  
• Ensure strong, clean, and defect-free weld joints.
  
• Follow workplace safety standards and PPE requirements.
  
• Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy.
  
• Maintain welding machines, tools, and work area.
  

Required Skills:

• MIG Welding — hands-on welding experience.
  
• Metal Fabrication — ability to work with metal structures.
  
• Welding Safety — proper PPE and hazard control.
  
• Drawing Reading — understanding weld symbols and measurements.
  
• Quality Checking — identifying welding defects.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Overseas work experience.
  
• Knowledge of welding inspection standards.
  
• Experience in industrial or construction projects.
  

Work Experience Requirements:

Typical: 2–5 years of MIG welding experience preferred. Candidates should have experience in fabrication, construction, or industrial welding environments.

Education:

Minimum: ITI / Diploma / Welding Trade Certificate typical

Preferred: Welding certification

Additional: MIG welding certification preferred
