Responsibilities:

Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qataris seeking an Assistant Security Manager who will be accountable for the security and safety measures throughout the resort. Willmaintainstrategic oversight of every aspect of the resort's physical security and safety forguests,employees,assetsandreputation including staffing, budgets,protocolsand procedures as well as crisis management. 

Job Description:

• Manage and supervise theday-to-daysecurity force of the property to ensure the safety and security of all guests,personnel,and property.

  
  
  

• Review and conduct performance evaluations for Security staff.

  
  
  

• Implement all policies and proceduresregardingsecurity and safety.

  
  
  

• Design and implement preventive safety and security programs.

  
  
  

• Prevent situations that could jeopardize the reputation of the hotel.

  
  
  

• Investigate crimes committed against the hotel, guests, and employees.

  
  
  

• Document all incidents occurring in the hotel in connection with crime, subversions, potentialliabilitiesand insurance requirements. And in documenting such activitiesremainobjective andwritea comprehensive report.

  
  
  

• Manage and coach the security team 

  
  
  

• With support from upper management, manage all problems and complaints that may be brought to your attention by guests;

  
  
  

• Be well versed as perprocedures andcommunicate them as needed.

  
  
  

• Motivate,superviseand coach the security team;

  
  
  

• Support the Director ofSecurity with regards to scheduling, holiday management, overtime management always while keeping in the mind hotel operational needs;

  
  
  

• Activelyparticipatein department meetings and prepareappropriate summaries;

  
  
  

• As per Four Seasons standards, offer guests a pleasant,efficientand professional service;

  
  
  

• Act as a support in the onboarding and training process of new employees and help them complete their tasks;

  
  
  

• Help guests who are experiencing problems with their in-room safe;

  
  
  

• Help guests access their roomsin the event ofa lost or defective room key;

  
  
  

• Welcome visitors, contractors, external vendors and register them in thevisitorslog;

  
  
  

• Help direct visitors and guests upon arrival at the hotel and answer any questions they may have;

  
  
  

• Have excellent knowledge of the services and amenities offered by the hotel as well as their schedules;

  
  
  

• Ensure that the security spaces and employee entrances arekept clean at all times;

  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• 1-2 Years of experience in a similar position with a Luxury Hotel or resort

  
  
  

• The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any task!

  
  
  

• Requires reading, writing and oralproficiencyin the English language, Arabic is a preferred asset

  
  
  

• Degree & Diploma is preferred but notrequired
