Safety Engineer

1. Minimum 10 years post-graduate experience with experience in major Infrastructure Projects or Programmes, Preference will be given to Drainage Pipeline, Wastewater Treatment Plants and Pumping Stations, TSE Pipelines, Surface Ground Water Systems, Underground Services and Civil Structures related experience.
2. Experience with the planning implementation of temporary and permanent road works to recognized international standards.
3. Knowledge of traffic control devices such as temporary safety barriers, speed control/speed management measures, traffic signage, road furniture, road markings, pedestrian and cycle crossing measures, as well as infrastructure requirements for traffic signals and roundabouts.
4. Knowledge of wide-ranging road safety issues relating to complex layouts such as road tunnels/underpasses/elevated road sections/grade separated interchanges and large traffic signal junctions
5. Demonstrable track record in the delivery of large Multidisciplinary Project.

1. Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in an appropriate field or equivalent
2. Evidence of suitable safety certification, such as NEBOSH, ISO 45001, etc.
3. Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken
4. Driver’s Licence
