Manager - Painting - Qatar

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Manager - Painting to lead and manage painting and surface protection activities for Oil & Gas projects. The candidate must have extensive experience in industrial painting, coating systems, manpower management, and project execution.

• Manage complete painting and coating operations for Oil & Gas projects

  
  
  

• Plan, schedule, and monitor painting activities as per project timelines

  
  
  

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations

  
  
  

• Supervise site teams including engineers, inspectors, and chargehands

  
  
  

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and QA/QC teams

  
  
  

• Ensure proper surface preparation and coating application as per standards

  
  
  

• Monitor productivity, manpower allocation, and material consumption

  
  
  

• Review and approve painting inspection reports and documentation

  
  
  

• Maintain adherence to HSE requirements

  
  
  

• Handle project billing, progress tracking, and reporting to management

  
  
  

• Qualification: B.E / B.Tech (Mechanical) - Mandatory

  
  
  

• Experience: 20-25 years in Painting (Oil & Gas sector mandatory)

  
  
  

• Strong knowledge of industrial painting, coating systems, and blasting

  
  
  

• Experience managing large painting teams and site execution

  
  
  

• Familiar with international standards (ISO, SSPC, NACE, BGAS preferred)

  
  
  

• Strong leadership and communication skills

  
  
  

• Ability to handle client coordination and project planning

  
  
  

• Salary: QAR 16,000 - 17,000

  
  
  

• Package: Full Package (FAT included in salary)
