Licensed Aircraft Engineer - IFE Maintenance

About the role:

Responsible to deliver aircraft Maintenance activities to directly support flight operations maintenance checksanddutieswithintheirauthorityasaLicensedAircraftEngineer.Toprovidespecializedknowledge skills and expertise and require ensuring safe, effective and efficient operation.

Some of the tasks include: 

• Planassignedactivitiesinaneffectiveandefficientmanner,operateequipmentorusetoolingrelative to assignedtasks within framework of Qatar Airways procedures.

  
  
  

• Reviewsworkprocedures,standardsandproposesimprovementswhereproceduresarenotappropriate to ensure work processes are effective.

  
  
  

• ResponsibleforthefinalreleaseofworkaccomplishedbytheMechanics.Ensuretasksareperformedto meet company/Customerstandard and target such as dispatch reliability and level of acceptable deferred defects.

  
  
  
• EnsuredeliverystandardofQR/customerproductsaremet.Aircraftmaintenancetasksare accomplishedinaccordancewithlaiddownpoliciesandprocedures.Providesatisfactorysupportto internal and external customers.
• Implementsolutionstotechnicalproblemswithinhisrangeofhisauthority,andensurethataircraftsor components serviceability standards are maintained to meet schedule requirements.
• ProvideguidanceandoronthejobtrainingtotheTechniciansandAircraftMechanicsreportingtothis position.
• Whensupervisingthewokofothers,ensuringthatacceptablestandardofworkmanshipandqualityare maintained and the correct tools are employed to accomplish the task.
• Performotherdepartmentdutiesrelatedtohis/herpositionasdirectedbytheHeadoftheDepartment.
