Job Summary:
Emerson Automation Solutions is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Senior Engineer – Cybersecurity.
They will be part of the Cybersecurity implementation and Site maintenance team and will be responsible to lead and participate as part of a project sub-team focused on Cybersecurity Site aspects.
They are part of the team responsible to create a positive experience for our customers and delight them with solutions that exceed their expectations and help them to make the systems secure
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Consulting and assisting customers in development/maintenance and improving of cybersecurity plans and/or programs on customer sites.
The major responsibilities include the implementing and maintaining the relevant Cybersecurity technical solution on projects and customer sites. The solutions start with preparation of procedures and policies in line with customer specification, industry standards and best practices and Emerson recommendations. For existing sites, the responsibility includes conducting cybersecurity assessments and prepare a solution based on gap analysis. Providing ISA and Local Standards compliance support services
Performing vulnerability assessments on customer's control systems, developing assessment reports and suggesting mitigation/remediation strategies during project lifecycle with specific focus on installed systems.
They will be then responsible to review these with the customers and implement these on the shop floor for factory acceptance tests and also deliver these on customer systems at sites around Middle East and Africa.
Implementing recommended mitigation/remediation strategies & Installation, configuration, tuning and maintaining of Emerson Cybersecurity solutions.
They will be responsible to select required components, configure those and ensure that the offered solutions meet the specifications and achieve customer acceptance.
This person is , in particular, expected to work on Security Information and Event Monitoring solutions based on McAfee/Trellix platform, and the full suite of Cybersecurity solutions that Emerson deploys to customer facilities.
Foster a positive environment in a Cyber Team for work and professional growth.
Support Emerson MEA with Sales activities as required.
Perform base customer support activities, including phone support, field service and remote diagnostics, as well as interface with Emerson Field Support Engineers, regional offices and expert resources as needed to resolve issues.
Participate in customer workshops regarding Cybersecurity evaluations.
Continually and proactively increase one’s technical capabilities, growing and establishing higher levels of expertise.
Help to enhance the value of the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence by contributing towards additional group activities/tasks, developing new internal/external solutions, and assisting with training (as appropriate).
