Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chargehand - Painting to supervise and coordinate painting and blasting activities at site for Oil & Gas projects. The candidate will assist the Site Superintendent in managing manpower, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining safety standards.

• Supervise daily painting and surface preparation activities

  
  
  

• Guide painters and blasting crew at site

  
  
  

• Ensure work execution as per project specifications

  
  
  

• Allocate manpower and monitor productivity

  
  
  

• Ensure proper mixing and application of coating materials

  
  
  

• Maintain discipline and safety compliance among workers

  
  
  

• Coordinate with QC inspectors for inspections

  
  
  

• Report daily progress to Site Superintendent

  
  
  

• Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained

  
  
  

• Qualification: Any

  
  
  

• Experience: 15-20 years in Painting (Oil & Gas sector preferred)

  
  
  

• Strong knowledge of surface preparation and coating systems

  
  
  

• Experience supervising painting crews

  
  
  

• Familiar with industrial painting standards and safety procedures

  
  
  

• Ability to read basic drawings and specifications

  
  
  

• Strong leadership and communication skills

  
  
  

• Salary: QAR 1,600 - 1,700 + 300
