Senior Software Tester- Maritime Industry

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications through comprehensive testing strategies, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and backend applications;

  
  
  

• Perform API testing using tools like Postman and validate endpoints based on Swagger/OpenAPI documentation;

  
  
  

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript or Python;

  
  
  

• Validate REST APIs, ensuring performance, reliability, and data integrity;

  
  
  

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC;

  
  
  

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing;

  
  
  

• Perform database testing using SQL queries to validate data accuracy;

  
  
  

• Identify, document, and track bugs, and support their resolution;

  
  
  

• Participate in code reviews, test strategy discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives;

  
  
  

• Mentor junior testers and contribute to best practices in QA.

  
  
  

• 5+ years of experience in software testing or QA;

  
  
  

• Strong experience with JavaScript and/or Python for test automation;

  
  
  

• Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing;

  
  
  

• Solid understanding of Swagger/OpenAPI specifications;

  
  
  

• Strong experience testing RESTful APIs;

  
  
  

• Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions);

  
  
  

• Good knowledge of SQL for database validation;

  
  
  

• Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, PyTest, Selenium);

  
  
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
