Land Acquisition Associate (Public Land Permitting)

Job Title: Land Acquisition Associate (Right-of-way)
Location: BGC, Taguig
Work Set Up: Hybrid (4x a week onsite and 1 day WFH)
Note: Must have prior experience in public land permitting processes with DENR and other government agencies

Responsibilities

• Implement the end-to-end overall strategy for land rights acquisition over project site(s) and transmission right-of-way.
• Review, analyse, conduct due diligence, and research over the targeted land or right-of-way’s documentation and recommend valuation.
• Secure long-term rights over land and secure the necessary permits and approvals for use of the land for project purposes.
• Secure and ensure completeness of all land rights documents required for the transfer of land rights to the company’s project SPV that meets bankability standards.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including project teams, consultants, contractors and LGUs.

Skills and requirements: 

• Have 3+ years working experience in land acquisition within Power, Renewable Energy projects, or any other large infrastructure projects.
• Are a graduate of any bachelor’s degree
• Have strong communication skills and an ability to document project information and risks in a concise manner.
• Are fluent in English and Filipino. 
• Have an ability to work well within a lean team and manage different workstreams simultaneously.
• Have a hands-on approach, with the ability to take initiative and work proactively.
• Are meticulous with details, well organized, and able to learn quickly and independently with strong analytical skills.
