Azure DevOps QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive QA Automation Engineer to contribute to the automation testing efforts for our software solutions. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test scripts using tools such as Cypress, Selenium, and Appium, ensuring efficient and reliable regression, smoke, and sanity testing as part of a collaborative QA team.

Job Responsibilities:
Automation Test Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing using Cypress, Appium, and Selenium.
Test Scenarios: Automate key workflows such as regression, dispatch ticket handling, and ticket management processes.
Continuous Testing: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing during deployment.
Collaboration: Work with developers to identify test automation opportunities and address bugs effectively.
Manual Support: Perform exploratory or manual testing when automation is not feasible.
Metrics and Reporting: Track QA metrics and report findings for continuous improvement.
API Testing: Automate and validate API testing for seamless backend integration.
Sprint Involvement: Actively engage in sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives, providing insights on automation.

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with Cypress, Appium, and Selenium.
Proficiency with MS Azure and integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Strong knowledge of test case development, planning, and automation best practices.
Experience with API testing and automation using tools like Postman
Familiarity with agile methodologies and sprint cycles.
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
