Job Purpose(Job Summary):

Your Team
Our Information Security department is to protect Invesco’s information and Information assets from all internal and external, deliberate, or accidental threats. The information security team will protect data from unauthorized access whilemaintainingthe confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. In addition, designing andmaintainingthe Security Policies and Standards while adhering to legislative and regulatory requirements, providing information security training for all employees, and ensuring the business continuity of Invesco.
Your Role:
The Senior Cloud Security Engineer, based in Hyderabad, India,is responsible fordesigning, implementing, managing, andmonitoringsecurity measures to protect cloud applications and customer data while leading security initiatives across the organization. Operating with limited supervision, this role collaborates closely with cross-functionalteams—including Security, Enterprise Architecture, Technology Infrastructure, and Cloud Engineering—to ensure cloud security practices meet industry standards,comply withregulations, and align with businessobjectives. Additionally, the position drives the enterprise-wide strategy for safeguarding sensitive data across all IVZ environments, ensuring that cloud security policiesremainaligned with business risk, regulatory requirements, and the evolving threat landscape.
You Will Be Responsible For:
Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures for SaaS applications.
Monitor and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats in the cloud environment.
Defining technical security requirements related to cloud workloads that require integration with IAM, Security Groups, Data and Information Protection, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Security Information Event Monitoring (SIEM) systems integration, and others
Researching and designing current and future cloud security solutions to improve compliance with NIST Framework and Cloud Security Alliance guidance by working toidentifycommon patterns for template provisioning
Developing and deploying infrastructure as acode scriptsto implement and optimize security controls and mechanisms of a cloud infrastructure
Supporting cloud projects, tactical initiatives andprovidehands on implementation of various security technologies & processes withfocuson cloud security. Support key business and tech projects related to Cloud Transformation.
Providingappropriate supportactivities such as patches, upgrades, breakfixand improvements
Providingappropriate cloudsecurity engineering and support activities such as patches, upgrades, enhancements
Providing metrics and periodic updates on various projects assigned

The Experience You Bring:
Work Experience / Knowledge:
10+ years’ IT experience with 6+ years focused on security and solution architecture.
3+ years’ experience with cloud delivery platforms IaaS/PaaS/SaaS and providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft
Experience leading enterprise-wide security initiatives, including architecture and implementation of various security solutions & processes.
Ability to engage with senior leaders to define requirements and effectively communicate the results and risks.
Expert in one or more technology domains – infrastructure, application, network, IAM, data, endpoint
Experience working with enterprise architecture practice andmethodology, with security focus.
Experience authoring security standards, reference architectures, patterns, and guidelines.
Knowledge of or experience with industry security controls frameworks such as NIST, CSA CCM, CIS Critical Security Controls, …
Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally. Frequency and duration to bedeterminedbymanager.
Experience with blueprints, patterns, and guidelines that standardize and accelerate organizational cloud adoption and align to industry compliance frameworks such as SOX, PCI-DSS, HIPPA, NIST, ISO, GDPR, SOC1/2, etc.
Knowledge of various security methodologies and processes, and technical security solutions, such as Prisma Cloud, Wiz, Container security, McAfee CASB, SIEM (Qradar/Splunk), IAM, Virtual Palo Alto, and other workload protection and security solutions
