SAP BW/Reporting Developer

A day in the life of an Infoscion
* As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight.
* You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise.
* You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design
* You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization's financial guidelines
* Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.

* Banking or financial services experience. Knowledge of one or more of the following: Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design with strong analytical and debugging skills
* Exposure to SAP Datasphere / SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
* Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
* Strong understanding of SOA and/or Open API methodologies and service architecture
* Solid knowledge of relational database design and development (SQL, stored procedures, data modeling)
* Experience with build tools, such as Git, Maven, and Jenkins.

* Design and develop data models in SAP BW/BW on HANA/BW/4HANA (InfoObjects, ADSOs, Composite Providers, etc.)
* Build and maintain data extraction processes from SAP and non-SAP sources (LO, FI, CO, generic extractors)
* Develop and optimize ETL processes using transformations, DTPs, and process chains
* Create and enhance reports and dashboards using BEx, Analysis for Office, or SAP BusinessObjects or SAC or other reporting tools
* Lead or support migration projects (BW to BW on HANA / BW/4HANA conversions, BDC transitions if applicable)
* Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements, particularly in SAP Finance and Banking
* In an Agile environment: Responsible for delivering high quality working software and automating manual/reusable tasks working directly, and engage with, the business from the beginning of the design work.
* Responsible for design, development, and maintaining automated unit testing, supporting integration, functional testing.
